Booking my Photoshoot and what to expect.

$250 will secure your Photo shoot in our diary. This fee includes your one hour Photoshoot and a two hour purchasing session to choose your favourite photos to have printed on the highest quality photographic products in the world.

  1. How long does the shoot take? The photo shoot runs for around an hour.

  2. What do I wear? We advise no logos, no patterns and try and keep your outfit to a minimum of colours. If there are group of you, its a good idea that you all outfits compliment each other. Try to imagine what your all wearing hanging up on the wall in the photographs from the photo shoot forever.

    Donna can will help you choose your out fit to suit the style , helping you to choose the outfits, makeup and hair to suit the style and look we are going for, ultimately we want you to wear what reflect your own style.

  3. How do I prepare my horse? Best to wash your horse the day before or morning of your photoshoot, groom your horse and brush the mane, suggest applying hoof gloss or color. If you would use a false tail at shows, its probably a good idea for the shoot as well. Bring a nice halter, plain or fancy leather halters photograph best. Bring your riding gear also if you are going to do ridden pictures.

  4. Can I get pictures riding my horse? Due to the dangerous nature of horse riding and horse handling, all risk is at the owners/riders responsibility.

    Please remember if the photographer asks you to do something you're uncomfortable with, it is important to say so immediately, it is your responsibility for your own safety to do so.

  5. How do I prepare my dog or cat? You should have you dog washed the day prior and give them a good groom.

  6. Can my friend take photos with their phone or camera during the shoot? No. All phones and camera’s are, not permitted to be used during the photoshoot.

  7. Rescheduling due weather conditions is at the discretion of the photographer.  We will touch base with you about a week prior to the shoot and then again on the morning of the shoot. We have a weather app that satellite images in real time so that we know what to expect. Often days when there are showers off and on the cloud formations make for a great backdrop and the lighting is soft and flattering, if we have the flexibility to maybe do the shoot a little early or bit later to dodge small rain fields that is ideal.

  8. Cancellation policy. When you book a photoshoot with us the $250 fee is non refundable, our studio is very busy and Its very hard to book last minute photoshoots, so we have strict cancelation policies. We understand that emergencies happen, but if you reschedule more than twice the $250 photoshoot fee will need to be paid again to reschedule. Our busy season is September-June and because we only do one photoshoot per day, it is usually quite hard to even fit you back in the diary, particularly for weekend sessions.

  9. How do I choose my art works and favorites from the photoshoot? We book out a 2 hour time slot for you to go through all the pictures so you don’t feel rushed. We will invite you to our comfy studio on my 20 acre horse property, five minutes from Kyneton. You’ll be comfy with a cuppa and watch a wonderful slide show with all the edited pictures from your photoshoot on a 60 inch screen. Then use softwear that makes choosing your favourites easy, we can compare similar images until you cull the collection to your favourite images. One our most loved are custom designed storyboards with up to 17 images and we can design it right in front of you with the software. Our studio has lots of samples of products available hanging on the walls like frames, albums and even outdoor weather proof photos mounted on marine board. It is really important to bring any decision makers along as there will be a lot of good ones and this will be your only chance to choose your pictures. The orders placed at the viewing, will go immediately into production and the order placed with our laboratory after you leave and so no changes can be made afterwards, unless you ask us to put it on hold.

  10. Do I get digital copies. Any photographic print that you purchase, you will receive a complimentary digital file’s in the same size as what you order. These files will be available after you have picked up your photo order and have confirmed that your happy with the results. They will be sent in a gallery to your email for instant download.

  11. Is there a minimum order? No there is no minimum order.

  12. What are the costs of the pictures? The photographic prints start at $180, on average people spend between $600- $5000. One of our most popular pieces are gorgeous framed story boards that are 40x30 inches with up to 17 individual images on the one framed piece, they start at $2600 and go up to $3600. We offer canvas wall art, frames, beautiful custom made leather albums and individual prints. It’s hard to know how many photos you will want to purchase, but we work with all budgets. Please note orders placed at the viewing session are final as order’s will go directly into production and sent to our laboratory, in order for the pictures to get back to your as fast as possible. unless you ask us to put it on hold.

  13. What are the payment terms? 50% deposit credit card or debit card. The balance will be due on pick up, which is within 6 weeks. We offer AfterPay. Alternatively 6- 24 month interest free payment plan, using Payright.

  15. When will my order be ready? Your order will be back within 6 weeks of ordering. We are happy to rush an order through if you need it sooner. Your artworks can be couriered directly to your home. Orders must be collected within a month of being notified they are ready, as we have limited storage areas.

  16. How do I purchase a Gift Voucher, simply email or phone, and we can send it out to you or your friend or family member in the post. Our voucher’s are $450 and include a one hour photoshoot, usually at sunset and a $200 credit towards Photos from the photo session. Also a two our purchasing session about a week after your photoshoot. Gift vouchers that are purchased are valid for 12 months. Gift vouchers that are won are usually valid for 6 months. Gift vouchers will become invalid if you reschedule your photoshoot, more than twice.
